We often recommend the installation of Ultracal Hot Water Cylinders from Range . Old style hot water cylinders took up to 2 hours to heat up whereas these new cylinders are specially designed to heat up much faster (approx. 15 minutes) and retain their heat for longer. This means you save money keeping the water hot and still enjoy all the hot water they need. These hot water cylinders are for use in an open vented hot water system.
In some situations, where mains pressure is good, 2 bars plus, we also use pressurised cylinders which can save space in smaller homes.
We can also boost existing hot and cold supplies to 4 bars pressure. This does away with the need for separate boosted power showers
